  • Suzuki Service Manual - 1989 750 Katana

Guys I got the service manual from e-bay.
For whatever reason I could not find the manual here on the forum, just the Haynes one.
When it gets here, I will scan and pdf it.

What would be the best way to make it available. I will check if comcast provides me some sort of download page to make public...

They do. If you use Comcast as an ISP you get a free webpage and a good bit of storage.

      Psssst...
A forum filled with write-ups, FAQ's, and visual aids for
mechanical & cosmetic modifications to your Katana.
It would't be any fun if it was easy! BUT, it does have to be this much fun!!

The link for the manual is for the 98+ Kats and Busa. Not for the pre98 bikes.

My fire fox has been always crashing on the attempt to download it... I just give it another run on the Internet Explorer...

I have just finished the download of this one, this is the Haynes manual.
I got this one already, in some other thread I got the hint to look for the original Suzuki Service Manual, and that is what I'm talking about.

Is there that much of a difference between the Haynes and the Factory manual? I've always throught the Haynes manual was a little better in terms of showing how things need to be done than the Factory manual (I have both for my 02).

All I know is that the Chilton's for the pre-98 is pretty much useless if you have the Factory Suzuki Manual. I paid @$50 for NEW copy it's been worth every penny.

I mean that to say Clymers not Chiltons....same for the Haynes manual

Clymer beats Haynes hands down on every manual i've ever had to dig thru. Clymer was more complete, detailed, and the step by step was simpler to follow. I wont buy a Haynes if i can help it.
