Welcome to KR! If you haven't yet done so, taking an MSF course and getting good gear (and wearing it) is something is highly recommend. Also, if you're mechanically inclined, there's a service manual available for download in the wiki. Usually best to assume the prior owner didnt do any of the necessary maintainace things.
