I just got my 97 Suzuki katana 600. Once i get it running I am going to insure it. I know it will be different for me but what is the average for your guys' monthly insurance for it just so I can have an Idea. Thanks

Depends on where you live. I pay $9 per month when stored, $20ish per month once it hits the road.

Is that liability or full coverage?

31 y/o single male, clean record live in CA. I'm paying almost $60/month for just liability.
And that's with a LOT of shopping around.

PLPD. Full coverage would cost more than the bike after a 12 month policy. I use progressive.

                            Free !!!

True story - I bought my Kat and went to see my agent. He jots down the info after looking over the bike and we go inside. He plugs all of the info into the computer and smiles at me. He says he sees this a few times a year - with a multiple vehicle discount, my rate actually dropped $12 for 6 months by adding the Kat. Keep in mind, this is with a Honda ATV, a Z06, a F-150 Supercrew and an Escape already on the policy. They also have my home owners coverage, which gets me another discount as well.

For full coverage ($300,000 / $500,000 / $300,000) on all those vehicles, with 30 days rental car and towing, we pay $174 per month. Both of us are 50+ with clean driving records. Also, the Corvette is listed as a garage-kept, less than 10,000 miles per year vehicle. (Should be, it's a 2002 with 27,XXX miles). The Kat is also listed as a secondary use vehicle - the F-150 and the Escape are listed as the primary use vehicles.
