  • New to riding/new to katana

I really need new tires for my 2002 katana 600, but I've always been unsure of believing the salesman behind the counter. I'm going to be driving long-distance roughly 200 miles round-trip every day to and from work I really need to know what kind of tires I should put on my bike that will last me. Please help a newbie rider!

I have gotten good mileage from Shinko Raven 009. almost as many miles as PR2s I tried. cost about $175 for the pair to my door.

            Welcome to KR!

I really liked the Pirelli Angel Sport Touring. Great grip in dry and wet conditions, good mileage as well. Running the Shinko now, do not compare to the Pirelli at all.

            Gear up, ride safe.

For the higher mileage and not so big of a bite on your Wallet the Shinko's are a good deal. I tried them out and have been quite happy with them.

                And Welcome to the Group.
