got bored with my 95

so I picked up my 95 kat and not a single fairing was clean...
They all have at least 1 large crack or rash.


So being officially broke and bored I got out my air cutter and went crazy lol










I started to sand blast and strip the tank only to realize it has 5 different layer on it... 6 if you count the plastidip...







and since i can't afford a real paint job, it's rattle canned and in the process of sticker bombing the tank lol

I cringe every time I see someone cut up fairings, they are getting difficult to find, broken or not. any ideas on that ugly light?

haha no mock up yet,

yea fairings are getting harder and harder to find and cost quite a bit. But my fairings are broken, cracked, and missing tabs so i've been repairing and painting them.

no mock up pictures yet. I need to work on the front fairings still. Currently focusing on the rear and tank for now.

as for the headlight I'm thinking of doing a dual set up like an FZR1000, or i might go crazy and mod the front with a Hyosung GT650R headlight and fairing.

now to start sanding blasting and prep for powder coating... just not sure what color I want to do them in just yet...

White center, polished lip.. I like the look of the polished lip. Breaks up the monochrome look of just paint.

Not crazy about decopage...but I'll reserve judgement until it is done. Who knows...you might put a rug on it that will tie the whole bike together.

Kudos on the leather seat. Truly top notch
