I have an 89 Kat 1100 that my mechanic rebuilt, except for rings. Had cams re-ground, works beautifully. Needs carbs, though, and I am stalled on finding em. Bike is together, and running well, except for carbs. Know where I could find some?
Or could gixxer carbs work? My mech. speculates, maybe...as the gixxer ones he has have one fuel lead, but mine has two. Do later gixxer carbs have two?
Am looking to sell this bike, prob. next year now...any interest, gang?
I would need to see $2000. firm, as is. I am in Vancouver, BC. This bike is classified as rebuilt, due to damage to fairing being expensive, but has been government certified as safe, runs straight as an arrow to 230 km, as fast as I have dared so far, and is the most stable thing my mech has ever ridden with hands off, he says.
