It's a beaut, Mark. My first bike getting me back into it 5 years ago was its little brother, the GSX750ES, an '83 model in pearl white trimmed in red. I snapped it up for $1,000 after the test ride when I was just lightly gelling out along a country road in 4th, then smoothly shifted into 5th and looked down at the speedo and was doing 87 and it felt like 57. It impressed me so much that I rode off with it. I have a large poster of it in my classroom.

My buddy and I stopped for a coffee a week or too back and commented on another riders gear... full black leathers with the pleated (like an accordion) at the knees and elbows and stuff.

Anyways, we end up talking to him and he's riding '83 gpz900 bone stone in mint condition...

Cool to see the old rides out there.

My buddy has a old CB900F with 7K on it just collecting dust...
