  • Gas Tank

I bought a project bike and already tried to clean and coat the tank with a kreem kit. I must not have done the best job because I have rust in the tank again (it has only been two weeks). Thank God I have not put the tank back on the bike. Can (or should) I do another try with the kreem kit? If so do I have to remove the old kreem first? is there another (better) way? Any advice would be apperciated!

You can try POR 15. I believe they also have a product to remove any other product previously used on tanks

I have heard of it. Is it better?

Claims to not peel and withstand acid. Think this should do the trick.

POR 15 is the best there is IMO. Everything else sucks.
