What happens when you try to start it
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

Are the fairings on the bike? If not, is the tip over switch sitting up straight? if not it wont start...

First recheck your work. It "fired right up" before you connected everything so see if you left something disconnected or connected something wrong.
Make sure that your battery has enough charge. The extra things you plugged in may be taking the needed power from ignition or fuel systems.
Second, if you didn't find a problem, work backwards. Disconnect what you repaired to return to where it was when it "fired right up".
