Well, over the weekend I got the carbs tuned up, and put the plastics back on. It's running like a champ now. I thought I had a vac leak in the system, but I think it was just some junk in the carbs/fuel lines from before I sealed the tank.

I need to bleed the rear brake again, get and get a new right handle bar which we noticed was severly bent.

Also, I totally spaced on the header gaskets, so all that's on order to complete the bike.

If we decid to keep her after this season, she'll go for paint in the fall.








The stable is getting a little full....



Oh, these guys wanted a photo taken tonight too... They're about 6 months old, and we've had them for about 3 weeks now.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it will stay blue, although there is a chance that it might spend part of this season in black. I have a friend with an airbrush who is threatening to paint it though...

Did you paint the motor?If so it looks good..Why not paint the bike flat black that would look damn mean..

The motor is a donor from an '01 Bandit.

She wants a blue bike since she already bought all blue gear.

airbrush paint can look good if its right for the bike. check out my album, i have a close up shot of the flames on my bike, they were airbrushed.
