Make some new axle adjusters.... If you are going down the path of making a swingarm, then the adjusters should be easy. Just copy the same principal from your existing adjusters.

I have a surplus stock Kat swing arm- have a 600 and 750, both pre's. Probably will only need one, eventually- if you need the other for a starter/test mule/etc. PM me.

Nah, you got the guts to try something new. Beats 80% of the modding that goes on around here. Even if it fails.. But it won't because you have support!

Got the new shock today waiting for it to arrive.

While I am waiting for some time to get working on the swingarm I think I am going to work on the front forks (Spacer and some new oil). Everyone tells me it rides funky in the corners, being my first bike I am used to it. The previous owner did not care for the bike at all so I figure I will change the oil anyways and see if it doesn't ride weird anymore.

What is that shock off of. I currently in a Swingarm deal. And tried using a shock like that but went against it.

Why not use a 98+ 750 shock with remote reservoir?

I do not want to mount the remote reservoir somewhere. I like just the shock. And it is from a GSXR. I do not think it will fit perfect but should not be too tough to make it work.

Black_Peter if you are still in the Cities over Summer I might have to catch up with you. I am originally from St. Cloud and have family in the Cities.

The GSX-R one might not work on a pre 98.. It didn't work on mine.
But arn't you adding this to the custom swingarm?

Hmmm I was basing my post on teddy's suggestion to get with arsenic and see if he has one.

                              Maybe I mis-understood teddy's post.

I tried a GSXR 1000 Shock... And the reservior was all into my battery spot. And it was too long. Can you measure the overall lenght of that shock so I can compare it to the GSXR 1000 shock I have...PLZ
