bondo on top of fiberglass is not a good idea unless i missed something than you are planning on putting bondo on the fiber glass. it will flex and the bondo will crack and chip off. unless its another bondo product. the fiber glass reinforced bondo sounds a little stronger but not strong enough.

or i could be wrong i have never used fiberglass reinforced bondo so.....

I made a substantial part of my living making things from fiberglass that were under incredible stress, and I've never had a problem using body filler on fiberglass.
