I was nervous the tire was going to let loose and hurt the paint job.

Me2.. Trust me. My main concern was saftey through. I pointed the bike into a big empty grass yard. I had a brick in front of the front tire but It really didn't do much of nothing. And I wear best gear I had. But once the tire got spinning and really starting to melt, it felt really controllable.
