Default Complete suspension change

Hi all, new to the site,
Was wondering if anyone has changed the front and rear suspension on their bike,
I have a 2000 Gsx750f and I'm looking at changing the front forks to usd ones, but not sure on which would be best for ride-ability and handling,
Also looking at rear swing arm change possibly gsxr k4/k5
Any ideas or help would be great

Front end is doable, use the search function and you'll be able to find write-ups.
Swingarms are harder to graft in, nothing that's a direct drop in.

My questions would be what do you want and what are you really trying to do.

I want it?

The best performance for the $... just upgrade the suspension with racetech springs and gold valve emulators for the front, new spring and valving rebuild on the rear.

If you want the look... then 90-92 GSXR USD forks are pretty easy to graft on. Will still need to redo the springs and valving on them.

If you want a wider tire for looks (it will decrease performance) then there is a simpler modification you can do to the swingarm to widen it for a 5.5" rim running a 180/55.

93 750 Kat

Modified Swingarm, 5.5 GSXR Rear with 180/55 and 520 Chain, 750 to 600 Tail conversion, more to come. Long Term Project build thread http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=96736

I just changed my fork springs to suit my weight with .95kg sonic springs and the difference is huge. Noticeable change in braking distance is the big one. More control in turns and just a nicer all around feel.
