If you can stand the gap with that God forsaken, sick, humidity.. while wearing gear then you can stand anything. Just walking outside to your bike in gear was enough to make you break a sweat..but once you get going your fine.

Remember.. Sweat washes off.. Road Rash Doesn't !

      My question is:

Is it too hot for skin? If you think that it's "too hot" to wear leather while riding, is losing a couple pounds of skin worth the little bit of sweat?

Textiles do NOT hold up like leather, nor do they protect you as well. A good leather jacket will probably save you a lot of pain when the time comes - a textile will just reduce the amount of pain you feel. If you're worried about overheating, at least consider perforated leathers!

I've been down in my 1pc three times already, and i don't even have any broken stitches in it - nor have I EVER had rash. So yes, leather is definitely worth it.
