  • Vs. Kawasaki ZX-14 ?

Everytime I pass by the local dealer I cannot take my eyes off the Kawasaki ZX-14.... Even went in and sat on the ZX-14, which feels the same size as the Kat, and weighted pretty much the same also...

We all know it way out power the Kat, so beside the power advantage and price difference, what are everyone's opinions on the Pros and Cons on the ZX-14 Vs. the Kat?

    Nero and Zepp own one.
    That should be warning enough.
    Keep the Kat.

I like them. I'm looking at those right now too. I especially like the 08 S.E.

Zepp loves his (he got it a few months ago) and I'm pretty sure that Nero loves his too.

Zepp did a decent write up on his 14 after he got it....you may find it after doing a search.

I really like the color of Zepp's. He did'nt have any problems throwing it around corners at this years rally, which kind of surprised me, since it is a big bike and all.

                  Well I'm obviously biased

I love the ZX-14. It is an amazing bike that offers it all. It is very powerful and fast but it handles so nicely whether cruising around town or around the country. It is very comfortable and even more comfortable than my Kat was. It provides you all the power you could ever need, whether you are riding alone or with a passenger. The technology is far superior to the Kat. The ZX-14 handles amazingly well and much better than the Kat. I ride with friends on their 600rr and liter bikes all the time in the twisties, it has no problems at all I also can ride all day on the bike and never get sore. Something that my buddies can't do

Yes, I do ride a lot too. I have only owned mine since the last few days in April but have put over 9,000 miles on mine. Those are 9,000 very hard, aggressive miles too, since most of my riding is in the twisties.

Read my bike review from when I first bought the bike. It will give you an idea of the differences between the two bikes when my Kat was still the freshest in my mind.

If you like the Kat, you will LOVE the 14 I look at my bike every day and just love it more each day. Honestly. It is an AWESOME bike.

                            Que?

I think you said that the Kawi seats suck. However, you obviously have never sat on a ZX-14 seat then because the stock one is VERY comfortable.
