  • Picture Request - Corbin Seat Backrest

    Hello,

I was wondering if someone could provide me with some pictures from a Corbin seat backrest. I am mainly looking to see how they attach and if it differs from the normal seat? Hence, could i buy a backrest for the passenger and buy the corbin at a later point in time?

I am sure its pretty damn sturdy, but, also curious on movement within the backrest while installed?

    thanks!

The Corbin backrest isn't compatible with "other" seats, at least according to the listings on their website.

The base of the Corbin seat is specially designed to accept and support the back rest.

All kinds of pictures on the Corbin site: http://corbin.com/suzuki/9699katana.shtml

Although I have seen many pictures of the seat itself, i am most interested in how it attaches to the corbon seat versus not attaching. I have an extra seat at home that I was thinking about trying a DIY project to get a make shift backrest.

The Ovalbac Backrest attatches to the Steel Gunfighter and Lady Saddle through a slide chamber in the rear, then held in place with a set screw. Would not work with the Plastic OEM seat. It would not be strong enough, causing death... That would be bad. I got my whole custom set through a custom Harley garage for under $300. They get some great discount deals. You could check that out.

O Canada... I forgot. Try a Motorcycle Garage that is not a dealer. Ask what kind of deal they can get you... You might be surprised.
