thats a good question...but does the OEM can have an end cap that can come off?? or is it ALL welded on? on the D&D, only thing welded was the baffle to the endcap...all i had to do was drill out the rivets, chop it in half, and the endcap came right off..

i just loooked at my old stock can..dont konw if it would be possible to do it with that..the endcap is welded on.

I originally bought the bike to be able to drive/ride the way I want (i'm not a super crazy squid or anything but I have a heavy foot), because I end up getting about 18-20MPG due to my heavy foot in my 4 banger cage.

I chose a used Kat to save money and swore I wouldn't spend a money modding, like I did my cars.

This is why i'm looking for free mods I guess.... It's so ghetto and rice, but I wonder if you could just chop a middle section of the OEM and weld it, putting some kind of aluminum collar over to hide weld.

Man, I need to just pony up and buy a can!
