I'm swapping over to aftermarket air filters. Either individual cone filters that clamp to each carb, or two 2 barrel filters, one that slips over 1&2 and the other on 3&4. My question is which is a good brand for each and also, after this mod, what to do with the crankcase vent hose and such. Oddly enough the nipple off the box is threaded on the inside, but you wouldn't plug that up.

Holy crap, what size battery are you using? A standard led acid size 12 will fit in there just fine. Need more room get a lithium iron battery, way small. Just don't do what I did and mod the stock tray down to fit it.. Now my backup battery doesn't fit."I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you when I called you stupid. I thought you already knew..."
