  • Hi I'm the new guys.

    Hi guys,
I have been reading a lot lately about Katana's and finally can call myself an owner of such bike.
I'm originally from Germany but live with my family in Plymouth Minnesota.
I purchased my Katana 750 just this last weekend. I have not been riding bike for almost 10 years and finally got my wife to "allow" me to spend 1300 bugs for one.
Well it is a 1989 GSX 750 F Katana, , please do not start advising me I spend to much... heard this already from the wife.

Well turns out the guy I bought it from did not do the maintenance which he claimed was done all last spring. The carb's just from the outside tell a different story and when the bike finally starts the back firing indicates this as well.

I think I got a good deal, however I'm left with some work right up front, which I will be attempting to do myself. So look out for questions to come. First I need to visit a lot more of your forum articles. Well it is still 5 below here, so we are still far away from riding season.

Here are a couple pictures of my new baby.
