well my thread got closed and i was trying to fix a mistake but i have a 140/80/17 on there will the 150/60/17 still work or can i go bigger

Well maybe there is a reason for that thread being closed?? Like that question being asked about a dozen times a month.
To answer your question biggest tire you should use on that rim is 150/50/17 or 150/60/17. I do know of at least 1 person that runs the 160/60/17 Metzler M1 without a problem also.

I run a 160/60/17 on my 93. Fits fine and I haven't had any problems with it. Dunlop Qualifier for the record.
