I can't believe this doesn't pop and backfire on decelleration like a SOB with the stock jetting.

in the next day or to i should have a vid of a pass on the interstate..... trust me it sounds wayyyy better when it hits those high rpms, no rasp, plenty of tone

it is if you dont downsize the tip, if you just yank our muffler off yes you will **** them, provided you have back pressure there is no issue

Didn't even see the last post date. Noob mistake.

Is there a way to tell if you don't have enough back pressure such as popping or backfiring?

I decided to fabricate an exhaust and see how it turned out. I went to the nearest auto parts place, bought a collector/adaptor that went into a smaller turndown pipe to make sure i keep some back pressure and not F up the engine. It ran me about $7.49 not including the high temp paint I used. The note turned out extremely deep and EXTREMELY loud. Heres a little clip, but it really doesnt do it justice. I passed my friends house who lives next to the interstate, he could here me coming about a mile out. Well anyway here ya go, let me know what you think.
