I am in the right place - the streetfighter forum! I need your help to get my bike back together. Below is an email that I sent to a parts vendor before I found the KatRiders.com forum. I would appreciate any/all help.
I am repairing my bike after it went down. It's a blue/white 2006 Katana 600 and some parts were lost when the wrecker picked it up and towed it. Here is what I need, separated by the "what I need to make it work" and the "what would be great to have" categories. I am also dividing it up into whether I rebuild it to be stock with plastic or whether I just make it a naked bike. All the lights are broken or gone and so is the instrument cluster.
what I need to make it work
LH rider footpeg
shift lever
RH handlebar switch and throttle grip
RH handlebar and bar-end weight (I have the bracket that bolts to the top triple clamp, the handlebar pipe broke off and is gone)
seat lock and the cable that goes with it
complete instrument cluster
front brake lever
front fender (black)
what would be great to have if I rebuilt it to stock
upper fairings, windshield, headlight (I have intact lower fairing)
rear seat cowling
stock tail light
stock headlight
what I need to make it a naked bike
some sort of headlight and taillight that I can mount
turn signals or else I can get a led flasher for this and use the 2 bulbs in the tail light
