bandit 1200 to mod pre 98 kat

i have a 1988 katana 600 and one of my friend smashed is bandit 1200 1992. He had no insurrance so he wants me to take the parts i need before he sends the bike to the junk yard. Since i'm new to the katana world but i've always modify my things like my car(http://pages.videotron.com/mx3/) i want to know all i can take from is bike to put on mine. The front is destroyed but all the rest is ok.

I know i'm taking the engine, transmission but can i also take the swing arm, brake system, etc

If you have the option, pull all the parts you can and sort the details out later.

You'll likely need the electronics and coilpacks too I think.

Dude , if he's GIVING you what you want before he takes it to the junk yard , take EVERYTHING that's not damaged and sell off what you don't want .
