  • Damper bolt removal

    Hi guys,

Currently in the process of replacing the seals on my post 600 kat forks.

Really struggling to get one of the damping rod bolts out as the damping rod keeps spinning. Any ideas on what tool to use (or make) to stop the damping rod spinning with it?

    Cheers

    Liam

Put the spring and washers back in and reinstall the top cap long enough to break the bolt loose with an impact gun. It's not really tight, it just has some threadlock on it. An electric impact like you would use for driving deck screws will work just fine.
