Has anyone added a gps to their Katana? How did you wire it in?

Mounted on my tank... run it on batteries right now. Installing a power outlet this season.

Bought a RAM mount, for my Tomtom XL, and a marine grade 12V accessory plug of eBay, with shrink wrapped wires and fuse inline. Works Greats, and keeps the GPS charged. I can send you some pictures if you are interested.

Something that is also easy is to put a 12v socket under your seat.

I wired in a weatherproof 12v power outlet under the front right fairing. It is wired so it is only hot when the ignition is on using a simple relay and a keyed hot lead.

i just went out n got a waterproof magellan gps, n i stick the suction cup on my speedo or tach.i make sure its charged up before i leave my house.
