Key broke off in seat mechanism..

    Yeah, Except my Key release cable is all messed up.. lol I just have to get something ahold of the cable and pull right or is it push?

      to bad it was not a 600 a lot easier to get off with no key.....have tryed spraying wd40 down the cable tube and let sit for a hour or so and spary it and try again right after that??

            Good for you! That must really suck! When I first saw this I thought you broke your key off out riding...that would be terrible.

            Was it seized or just needed more force?

              Well, the key mechanism cable was all messed up, I ended up having to pull up on the seat and at the same time fit a flat head way into where the cable connected and pushed it to unlatch it.. If that makes sense.
