Actually trying to access to the tranny. I've removed so far :
1. Clutch
2. Oil pan
3. Upper case bolts
4. Lower case bolts
5. Cranckshaft bolts
6. Countershaft bearing retainer srews (damn stripped philipps)
7. Seal (behind the front gear)
The dealer told me that I do not need to remove signal generator.
So I removed golden plate screws ...supposed to be enough.
So I'm now trying to split the cases but nothing want to move !!! It is a 1988 engine, so I guess it is firmly stuck together.
Any tips, advices to split these ? Heat it ? Chemical product ? (nothin is told about this in the Haynes' repair book)
Thanks a lot
