High idle???

I recently got my first bike. A 1995 katana 600. After riding for a while Ive noticed the idle is around 1500 to 1800rpm. Is this normal and if not how do I adjust this?

its a bit high.. should be around 1k... there is an adjustment screw on the left side just below the float bowls... if you go to the Wiki, download the manual for your bike you can find the info on exactly where it is.
