I own a 2010 black and silver one, I would post a pic but can't seem to be able to from my phone ;(. Gotta say the bikes a blast to ride, good power from just about any rpm. The bike handles very well, the seating position is easy on the wrists and back. As for the looks I think it's either a love it or hate it kinda thing, me personally I think it looks very aggressive. Its a hooligan bike that's for sure!

You're right. It's an amazing bike. I just got to ride Ian's a good bit at the rally. Man that thing is fun.

The pics are from when I first got it, done a couple things since then. Put some asv levers on it, cleaned up the tail and some pin striping. Next on the to do list is the exhaust, cans for it are pretty pricey though! I'm thinking some m4 slipons, heard them on youtube theve gotta a nice low growl to em.

That is my favorite bike based on looks...especially in black. I actually like the exhaust on the older models with the 4 round pipes stacked 2 per side.

Always liked the looks of the z1000, but I agree the stock pipes are a bit outrageous.
I finally got home and get to ride my KAT!!!

I'm retro, that new stuff looks too buggy.

I agree with you guys on the looks of the pipes, they are just plain ugly. Hopefully come next spring I'll be able to replace them, not sure really with what yet.
