Red windscreen VS.Red Chrom windscreen

Whats the difference between a red winsdscreen and a red chrome windscreen? Which your favorite/better and why?

well red is just tinted (like your Car window) Red chrome is a mirrored finish- which does attract alot more attention when Light reflects off it

a red screen you can see through, a red chrome you can't see through at all. Illegal in some states.

Does anyone have a mirrored windscreen? Does it get annoying or in the way not being able to see through it?

I have a black chrome sportech windscreen. I don't even notice that you can't see through it. Besides even tucked in over the tank you really don't look at the road through the screen so it's a moot point. The problem I had with the tinted ones is that the color never quite matched.

i have a black chrome windscreen that was on the bike when i bought it. not being able to actually see thru it is no big deal. my chin would have to be resting on the gas cap to look through it while riding anyway. and that just never happens.

actually, i will probably sell that one and buy the straight chrome windscreen (which is just plain black on the rider side). my bike is blue with chrome wheels and a polished exhaust... i think it will look better. the black chrome just basically looks black.

The best part of my Gold Chrome windscreen not being seen-through, is that the sun does not glare on my tach or speedometer. I never found the need to see only 2 inches in front of the tire anyways. It is only illegal if it impedes your view, like it would on a cruiser, not on the Kat. It's good to go.

I have a straight chrome windscreen, which is black on the rider's side. It matches perfectly with my chrome rims and Scorpion exhaust. Check out my garage for pics.

I don't look....try to look through it. It just makes the bike more cosmetically appealing.
