Well got the plate bracket and engine casing in. Wish the casings were as easy to swap out as the tag brocket was to install...

Nice score, a little bit of elbow grease and you'll have a mighty fine machine, and a nice return should you decide to sell it!

I'm hoping for a few years of good use out of her. If I was out to make a buck, I'd just throw a cheap set of plastics on and bump up the price another 2 grand or so. Believe me, I've considered it Unfortunately for me, I'm not the kind've guy that does that....

Cinti, I got word on those cases the other day. You should be good to swap just that lower case.

Sounds like your prices are like here, $2500 for a wrecked GSXR is the norm. Very rarely does a SS sell for less, but when it does some prick about an hour south grabs every one up and parts them out.

Anyways, nice bike. Look forward to the progress even though its getting plastic

              Thanks 92.

Great news John, thank you for that. It seems Dave an myself haven't been on at the same time since I bought the thing lol.

Awesome score. Ive always liked the gsxr 750, more so then the R6.. let me know how those 3rd gear power wheelies turn out

The 04/05 750 isn't really strong enough to power it up in 3rd gear unless you really gear it down a lot. With the stock gearing mine will power up easily in 1st once the tach hits 10k rpm, a fast shift or double clutching it in 2nd will lift it a little bit when riding solo, riding 2up it will power it up in 2nd pretty easy. The only time mine has powered itself up in 3rd was cresting a small rise in the road at around 11,500rpm (at a little over 120mph). I have my suspension set on the firm side, which does help reduce excess weight transfer, since I ride with the wife on the back a lot. I could probably adjust the suspension to make it a lot easier to lift the front tire, but the rear would have to be set so soft that it wouldn't handle as good, and riding with a passenger would be a definite no no.

Its been a couple days since I changed the oil, and only a little bit made its way to the floor. So I decided to install the clear integrated tail light and take her for a spin. All I can say is it is a completely different experience than the kat.

Well... Got my matching shift and brake pedals installed. Modified the LOR exhaust with a DbKiller (sounds sooo much better now). Installed the new Supersprox front an rear and D.I.D. chain, as well as the PP2ct front tire and PR2 rear. Even did my part to promote breast cancer awarness along the way lol.
Took her out for a couple rides today. The PR2 may take a little getting used to and after a couple hundred miles today, I can tell it takes a bit more to warm it up compared to my usual PP2cts.

Aww look at the little analog gauges

Just kidding, at least you can see them in the sunlight.

Get rid of that crap exhaust though, LOR is garbage.

The LOR will do for the time being, have other areas where money needs to be spent first.
The gauges are part analog part digital.

Yeah that was the joke. My tach is LED and its worthless if the sun is out...

Screw that LOR exhaust thought, someone wrecks a gsxr every 10 mins, should be easy to find a replacement
