Round #2, baby!

This weekend is Round #2!

Both of the practice track times that were scheduled between rounds 1 & 2 were cancelled due to weather. It's been rainy and cold for the past two weeks; however, this weekend is supposed to be warm and sunny! Woot!

After talking with my coach, he says that I just need to open the throttle (I'm told it's a total girl-problem, and all of us out there do it).
I'm backwards to everyone - I'm slower on the front straight and faster through the corners. I could knock off an easy 10 seconds off my lap-times if I would just man-up actually red-line in 6th down the front straight.
Plus, I have to get over my issues of not wanting to push people out on corners and just dive into corners first, and let them re-align their lines.
If I can do those two things, I promise you, I'll have a much stronger finish this round.

I wish I had a track like that near here...I'd go...Closest track for me is Barber in Birmingham and that is about 8 hours. There are some drag strips but I wanna do something besides strait

errm, unless it's cold... which i found out the hard way lol
but! it's gonna be warm, and that's gonna be a huge confidence builder!
Round 1 was in between bouts of snow, and it was cold, and i know i was overly paranoid from my get-off two weeks prior due to cold rubber and a freezing track, and a too-aggressive lean for the conditions.
