  • Warm leggings for the winter?

I have some special jeans with kevlar and knee pads that I wear currently. The temperature in north texas is dipping down into the 50s and 40s now and I find my legs getting super cold.

Is there anything you would recommend I can wear under these jeans to keep my legs warm?

A pair or two of long johns should help with insulation.
And something to break the wind, like windbreaker pants.
In the cold I find myself wearing longjohns under my leathers, if it's a short ride I'll just use longjohns/jeans and that ussually does the trick

When temps dip into the teens, I will wear long johns in addition to overpants - I wear FirstGear HT II's and I stay comfortable in those temps on the super slab.

In the 40s I'm pretty comfortable with with just thermo pants, and a jeans. Maybe even in the 30s

Hey, give the guy a break, he's from Texas where anything below 70 is cold and it's not hot until it's over 100!

            Try these:

Everyone from the midwest like me probably started laughing hearing that 50s and 40s are really cold. Sounds like a good day to me lol. But seriously, also look into wearing some long johns under your pants, really help keep you warm

Its not cold walking around. Its cold going 70-80 on the freeway for 30 minutes.

At 42 the other night after about 15 miles going 70 I realized I couldn't feel my thighs and they were shivering uncontrollably so I pulled off to rest. I was just wearing jeans that have some kevlar lining and built in knee pads.

And because of the wild party I was going to, I didn't have a shirt on under my jacket.

I have silk-weights that work well. I normally wear just jeans down to about 25*, then I start into the silk-weights and overpants. I ride year round and it only snows one day a year, if at all, in VA Beach.
