rear reflector conversion mod how you think it would work???

Hello so today on my ride into work(45 mins) i was doing my random thinking that i seem to do when i ride and i was thinking about what kind of unique mods i could do to my 90 kat 750. mostly i was thinking about getting rid of the rear reflector below the taillight. i was just going to pull the entire black trim off but dont really like the look of it like that so i wanted to figure out what i could replace it with so i figure could i pull the reflector out and cut the opening alittle bit and then stick some turn signal bulbs in there anf use that as my rear turn signals. was just curiour if you guys new if it would work or not thanks for the help

What exactly do you mean when you say "rear reflector?"

the square red reflector just below the license plate

no i want to keep the black trim piece under the taillight and just remove the reflecctor part and replace that with lights

Er, okay. Bulbs won't hold up too well with the exposure they get there. You want something transparent to shield the bulb...

ya i figured i would replace the reflector part with some kind of clear lens and cover it up

i will be doing the shovel chop tho on this bike gotta get rid of that ugly thing lol
