hello guys and girls, if i take my windshield off sand it down a bit and paint it black will it come out good and last? i would most likely use a spray paint can to do it. what do you think?

No need to sand it if you are going to use a good quality rattle can - clean it real well with windex, let it dry and spray the inside area which will give a glossier look than spraying the outer face.2006 Katana 750 - Daily therapy

I just sanded mine down and threw a few coats on it when I painted my bike. Everything went perfect, but it wasn't rattle can. I'm with those guys on the painting one side though, not only will it look glossy but you wont get paint chips and stuff because it will be protected by the windscreen. Kind of like the lexan bodies on RC cars. Good luck with the project.Comment
