Good deal, I really need to look into that. It sounds like it's more than worth the cost. Thanks for the info.

        Technically wouldn't it be $39

And now that AMA is owned by NASCAR does that mean id have a pit crew come work on my stuff and gofer cams (or whatever the hell bs those are called) lined down every road so they can see if I got hurt?

I didn't get a chance to look into it as yet. Is there any fine print that I need to worry about?

                The Fine Print

I knew there had to be something extra regarding this.

"Better yet, AMA Roadside Assistance is available FREE to AMA members who sign up online for AMA Champion, AMA Defender, AMA Hall of Fame or AMA Competition Plus memberships and choose the convenience of yearly automatic renewal of their memberships using a credit card.

If you choose not to do automatic renewal the price is as follows: AMA Roadside Assistance is also available as a stand-alone product for $35 a year to members who prefer to renew their AMA memberships without automatic renewal."

Which is still great for the price but it is something to note that there is an extra in there.

I'm sorry but I work for the legal dept for a corp. Reading fine prints seems to be my life.

It's still worth joining AMA! Mostly, it's a lobbying organization for motorcyclists' rights. They've got a lot of fingers in a lot of legislative pies and it helps to have that sort of organization representing you. Look into it!

Yeah, I think it's a good deal anyway. What they need to lobby for is to charge negligent cagers for felonies for injuring or killing motorcyclist.

or could have bought a honda........... ha ha ha just joking.

it is something i do wish suzuki would have. 1 call or 1 tow pretty much pays for itself.

I don't use my member benefits of the honda riders group, but when gas was 4 bucks and they would bring you up to 2 gallons for free.....do that twice and my membership would be paid for.

They are! It's a pretty tough sell though. It's not always a felony when a cager kills another cager so making it a felony for killing a biker would be giving us special protection. Stinks of "all equal but some more equal."
