2.5 out. gonna color tune it in the next couple of days though

could the a\f screws cause this?

not at 2.5 turns out. The carbs aren't as clean as you think they are.

I suspect a carb problem here but it could just as easily be an ignition fault have you checked the condition of plugs, leads coils, wiring & pickup ?

What I'D do .... Ride it for a bit , hit the driveway , and wait for it to do that . WHILE it's doing that , shut 'er down . Once it cools , pull the plugs and see if any of them are black-ish . But then , I just like pulling my plugs .

you can't disable the carbs, you need thoughs, if that's what tone said, you can't do that

ok pulled my plugs and they were black. cleaned m off till i can get new ones today. put carbs at 2.25 and now no more idle "bubble" but now the rpms come down really slow after a rev. cable routing?

Vac leak. Spray around the intake and breather boots and the vac line leading from #4, also make sure the hose is still on the bottom of the airbox and its plugged.

Another possibility too is you leaned it out a bit too much on the a/f screws, but check for a leak first, its easier.
If its not broke, Hit it with a bigger hammer and blame it on cheap imports

Possibly ..... or junk blocking fuel flow , or a vacuum leak , or choke hanging . Not very helpful , I know .

lol, it's good to pull your plugs often though, it's the most accurate info you can get without special tools, even an egt sensor only says so much, and afr/02 sensors will still leave you slightly rich and cold (unless they are poorly made or your info on what to set is wrong, because they should have margin for error on the side of rich) the only way to know that at all stages of the burn you only get so hot is by the spark plug tang color, and as for knowing if too rick just adjust till the plugs come out clean (don't use any thing i have just said as advice unless you are sure it makes sense to you, i hold no responsibility and may be wrong, i will admit that from time to time and i only have a handful of knowledge on this subject (mind you my hands are huge they are not buckets of knowledge like some posses on this subject)
