Ok now that I have your attention. I have needed better gear for a while and with the warmer weather coming up and the extra time at work Now is the time to get it. I currently have a Fieldsheer Johnny Cool mesh jacket (black), Scorpion EXO-700 (flat black), older Joe Rocket gloves with armored knuckles, and just purchased a pair of Alpinestars SMX4 boots (black, not waterproof). I will be going to the Rally in July and plan on some other trips Mena-Talihina (OK-AR)loop, Texas Hill Country, ect; so better gear is a must. I wear all my gear all of the time but the Mesh and my "thick" denim jeans are not inspiring much confidence. I want to get some QUALITY gear that will last me for quite some time. Here are the list if things I have to have/want.

1. Leather, perforated or not, just has to flow some air and still be able to use in cold weather
2. have to have pants and jacket (no one piece suits)
3. Must have full 360 zipper
4. Black
5. Spend no more than $800, but preferably in the $650 range so I still have bike upgrade money.

I would prefer to have something from Alpinestars so that it will match my boots but it is not a killer. I have never had any good gear so I'm not sure what to look for or what to stay away from. Make any suggestions you wish just keep the 5 "rules" in mind. If I end up with a all alpinestars suit/boot combo then make some suggestions for gloves too because I can't have them not matching.
