  • Thanks for the advice Grumpy!

Using the advice from grumpyoldgit and others I have finished my cowl. What do you guys think? Total cost to make and paint $117, and took 2 weeks. Would anyone put a back pad on thier solo cowl or is that too much?

not as hard as you thought at first was it?

as far as the backpad, try it. if you like it keep it, if not, peel it off....

No Teddy not hard at all. I think the hardest thing I had to do was using bondo to take out some of the flaws in the shape. I'm checking threads to see how to make a cowl back rest and if it make the cowl look bad. Keep up the informative post katriders !

Very nice. Don't know if I'd have the patience to mess with fiberglass myself.
