DAMNIT...I'm totally new to bike in every way but i had SUCH a hard time putting that thing back together correctly. Everything had to line up just right I've learned. Chalk it up to a lesson learned I guess.

Headlight buls are a bit of a PITA , but what "didn't line up"
? I just did mine . Reach back in there and pull the rubber cover , finagle the clip loose , pull bulb , and put the new one in the way the old one came out 
. Took me about a half hour in the Auto Zone parking lot at night ( NOT fun to do in the dark 
) to change one freakin bulb .
I am a fluffy lil cuddly lovable bunny , dammit !

A lot os the plastics seemed to be a bit off center when I put it all back, as well as one of the mirrors and the wind screen. Once the windscreen was in place the mirros went and it all fell into place. I think my main problem was that, once I for the first fastner in I cranked it right down. I should have made them all up loose and then made sure it was all in place.Comment
