  • Frame Slider questions

My friend has a 2001 750 Katana and we have been looking for frame sliders for it. We are having trouble finding some. Does anybody know where we could get some. She prefers the purple anodized aluminum but said she would settle for the chrome ones.

When it comes to things for the Kat sometimes you takes what you can get..

One of the members here sells them.
Do a search, you may need 10 or more posts to see the offers though

Yeah I am starting to realize that! I think that I have found all the other stuff that she wants to do to it, but those have eluded me.

Braunstein92 brackets held up quite well in my accident. They bent but did not bend the frame and that was at a 100 to 115kph crash.

When I got my Kat all the dealers told me that sliders didn't exist, and if they did, it would require serious modification of the fairing to get them on. How easy/hard was it for you to get them on??

(And I'd love to get a set.... if you find who sells them, please let me know Would they work on a 2005)

my kat is a 2005, and they went on with no mods to my fairing.if you c lick on the link that says"krazykats katana picts"you'll see i got a photo of one on my bike.they are cake to put on!and if your interested in my sliders, not the bracket mind you,p.m. me so i dont forget about you if i decide to sell em.if you wanna try to pick up a set on your own,go onto ebay.any slider should work.but you may have to change the bolt that holds it to your bracket, depending on the thred counts.but the brackets ,you have to buy them seperate to insure you have the ones you like.i hope this helps you...

I had a set from Braunstein92. The installation took less than 15 minutes and are well worth it. I can help you install then if you get a set.
