Hi, I Got a new 600 Katana & I Was wondering what she would do in a 1/4 & whats the 0 to 60 on this bike? its only got a Yosi Exhaust.

Motorcycle consumer news has a '98 600 at 12.25 @ 108.4 mph in the 1/4. It also has 0-60 @ 4.12 and 0-100 at 10.81 top speed at 134 mph. I don't think many riders will ever be able to get these numbers.Comment

CyberPoet isnt cold. Its just that nobody uses the search button before asking a question. 90 percent of everthing you ask can be seen with numerous replies if you just search. If you dont find an answer when you search then post up. For example this post with 33 replies.

I had no intentions of being cold. I had just gotten done answering a bunch of his questions in the next thread over (covering chrome wheels, chrome mirrors, cowls, etc), and knew that I couldn't do justice to this question because of all the variables (gearing, mods, altitude, etc). So I tried to teach him something new by teaching him to search -- which would have brought up a lot of discussions on it and let him see what various changes affected various people's quarter mile time.Originally posted by Crackshot

Bikes accelerate very quickly due to a very low power to weight ratio. However, their extremely poor aerodynamics limit their top speed. Your nice, sleek Corvette cuts through the wind like butter, which is why it can achieve a much greater top speed.
