  • Removing Decals Question

I'm trying to get all the decals removed and tried using a Hair Dryer and OOPS adhesive removal. OOPS is getting some of the adhesive off but not all. Is there another product that might work better. I'm using a regular garage clothe, is there something else I should be using?

    Thanks

Might I suggest the Search button. This has been covered quite a lot recently. Good luck.

ya, i am having major problems taking the decals off. The stupid adhesive side will not get off. I'll try goo gone tonight.

                  Thanks!

well I cant vouge for the silly putty part but googone is definately top notch stuff and won't strip the finish off your bike.

                      stupid decals!

So its been the third day and I still cant get all the adhesive off....

I've used goo gone, oops, and gas. The adhesive is like embedded into the paint. Driving me nuts.....

Try using a big pencil eraser.

I used goo gone as well, I really put on a lot and let it sit for a wee bit. You really need to work at it. Good luck!

lamp oil is the same stuff as goo gone. I have also used lighter fluid with good results. Plain old gasoline with a light touch works well too.
