  • License Plate/Turn Signals Bracket Alternative

Anybody know a roughly inexpensive alternative to the bulky bracket on the Katanas? I own a 2001 Kat and can find plenty of alternatives (integrated signals and brake lights) but nothing for my model year. Any ideas?

All I can say is a creese bracket.

Off topic, but mikem, you need a larger picture of your smoking hot g/f in the bunker gear in your personal album, or something. I was disappointed that there wasnt one there already.

Is she or are you the firefighter?

Also, if that's not HER bunker gear, she has an awfully scrawny b/f. It fits her way too well to be anyone else's. Could probably fit 3 of her in my gear. That's one of my fantasies, in fact. :P

Woops!! I'm not post-whoring, I swear. I have a bracket (came from ebay, fender eliminator kit) that I'd be willing to sell you for $5 plus shipping if you want it. I can get pics for you if you want.

Yeah...still no pics of it on the bike I see....

You can always try making one yourself out of angle aluminum or iron. Just figure out a way to mount everything with holes and bends. WK's bracket is better, though, than trying to use the angle-metal approach. It's every easy to run into clearance issues with it (as I found out last week).

                        OK Matt several questions..

                        1. Is that your purse? Cause it doen't match your riding gear!!

                        2. How does the toster-oven play into the manufactering of the bracket?

                        3. Did you use the crock-pot for anodizing?
(note to self don't eat WK's "special" Deal's Gap Stew!)

                        4. What's with the funny pink pills???
Something you need to share with the "men"??

Now that's funny. I need a bracket too. I guess I need to do a search. Do those brackets that say for katanas or 'busas off ebay work?

What i did was I bought a Creese bracket off of specialK and just mounted it under the tail light. That is a inexspensive bracket for i believe 15 or so bucks.

I am unsure about anyother ebay bracket.
