Is it ok when upshifting from 1 to 2 this clunky noise??? I dont know if i'm shifting to slow or I'm not reving enough.

Clutch in, throttle off, fast snap from 1st to second.
In the other direction:
Speed under 10 mph (walking speed basically), clutch in, throttle up a bit, fast snap from 2nd to 1st. Or wait until you're stopped.
It will always make some noise, but any grinding or late thunking (thunk after you've finished your shift movement) means the shift didn't go through all the way and the gears are dancing against each other until it slaps home with the thunk.
