It finally happened. I crashed the kat. The bike needs all new plastic, mirrors,and all the rest of the stuff that breaks when a bike slides 50 ft. down the road.. As for me i spent a week in the hospital with 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung, and some stretched tendons in my neck. So i'm outta work for a while but the Kat will be rebuilt.

Yeow! I busted two and collapsed a lung last year. It was miserable, at times I was so down from the pain. But you're alive and you will heal up if you're not a good way towards gettting there already.
Hang in there and just get better. My two ribs were awful, I bet 5 is worse. Well, hopefully you don't have to do farm chores like I did. I hope they give you some good pain meds, those can make the difference between actually being able to do some stuff and just laying in a haze of pain.Comment

yup....broken ribs suck. I can't remember exactly how many I broke. I took the steering wheel to the chest before it broke off at the joint where it tilts.Originally posted by cyclechris
