If the front wheel is coming up on launch on a Kat, then it's probably a clutch control issue. What are your 60' times like?
Here's my particular method for launching, which netted me low 1.90's in the 60' (and 11.3's in the 1/4)

Rev up to appx 7-8k RPM after you've lit both staging lights
When your sitting there, get a good feel for where the clutch just starts to engage, and keep the clutch just in of that.
In the middle of the 3rd yellow, slip out the clutch, and roll on the gas enough to keep it at 7k RPM or so, and ride that out until you've let the clutch out completely.
You should be just after the 60' mark when the clutch is completely out.
It sounds a bit complicated, but it's not, really. It's just like taking off quick on a dirt bike. Lots of revs, and slip the clutch.

Where do you race at? I'm guessing that's Cleveland Ohio as your location. I didn't think there were any dragstrips out towards Cleveland.

As you get more comfortable with starting out and controlling the bike you'll get better at taking off at a higher RPM. Just give it some time and keep practicing. You'll notice alot quicker times when you get a good launch from the lights.
