  • Carbon Fiber Gauge inlay?

I don't even know if I'm askin for the right thing which is probably why I can't find it anywhere, but does anyone know where to get carbon fiber "inlay" that goes around the gauges? I seen one a long time ago, but can't remember where. It was pretty cool. Thanks in advance for any help.

That is awesmoe did you have to take the guages off or could you lay it around them? How much did they charge you to send it from the UK or do they have a different distributor in the states?

Never cease to amaze Speedee. Thanks for the info buddy. What are those things above each place where you can adjust the fork tension? Looks like lil black covers. Mine doesn't have those. Are they aftermarket?

Ebay is your friend. You can find almost any mod for a KAT on there for $20 for levers, decals, bar ends etc or 100+ for fairings, cowlings slipons and the likes. All much much cheaper than anywhere else.

You guys didn't see the group buy I did for Fibre-Lyte a couple of weeks ago?

There are no US suppliers of it, you have to order direct from Fibre-Lyte...which is in the UK (and obviously the shipping is ridiculous)

If there are enough people, I might be tempted to do another one.

Fore general reference on prices....here's my previous thread.

I think I'd be all about getting some of these if you do another mass order.. How are these applied, do they lay over and use adhesive, or is it a replacement panel?

Everything applies from the outside. The tape has held now for 6 years.

Other then twelve-five your the second person after all these years to ask.
I had risers made to lift my bar ends 1/2". So then the fork tubes sat in a hollow cavity. I silicon on those plastic caps from GM firewall plugs to give the finished look.

I have an eye for detail. What can I say?

That's really cool man. Crazy thing to think of, but it definitely paid off. Looks real clean. I bet it was a pain in the butt/expensive, no?

here's some southerly advice that may come in handy down the road a piece... Next time you are too drunk to drive, walk to the nearest pizza shop and place a delivery order. When they go to deliver it, catch a ride home with them.
