About what RPM are ya'll running when your cruising around 60 mph. I am around 5k, Is that normal? Daniel

might be normal...depends on the gearing. my speedo is broken and on the hwy i stay with the flow, which is about 120kph....or 70mph. I am turning about 4500 rpm at that speed. 5k puts me around 80mph. this is with an 1100 with a 5sp tranny.I don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

but it is variable.....5k "coasting" is not the same as 5k pulling. 5k downhill...even slightly, will put you faster. you can have a variance of 10, 15...even 20 mph depending on these variables.I don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Thats about right for me also..depending on how im riding that day. between 5000-5500 or so.

you will get the feel of it it just takes time there is a post on here somewhere just do a searchhere's some southerly advice that may come in handy down the road a piece... Next time you are too drunk to drive, walk to the nearest pizza shop and place a delivery order. When they go to deliver it, catch a ride home with them.

At 60MPH/100KPH I`m at 4500 in 6th, in 5th i`m at 5500 and 4th nearing 6500. I`ll drop it to 4th for a quick pass.Comment
